Getting Rich after My First Day on Steemit!
It's time for a celebration! I've published my first article yesterday, so I'm a Steemit member for one day. Yay!
I checked out the stats each minute, then each hour. Was I going to get rich? Was this my breakthrough moment, my 15 minutes of fame?
Well... it wasn't really like that, but I am still extremely happy.
I am getting rich on Steemit... but slowly. It's better than not having any progress at all, right?
So here are my stats after 21 hours in the community:
Yay! My article has generated $0.14! It has 14 comments (with, strangely, just 6 actual views, and 6 of them being my replies, but still...) I also received 8 upvotes - one is mine as I heard we're allowed to do so. Hopefully I am not wrong.
I also have 5 amazing followers and I've already found 6 great people to follow and read. Get entertained by or learn from them. Things are looking great!
I have a background in blogging and it's usually a "cost per 1,000 impressions" that tells you how profitable an article is. These vary a lot, but if we were to judge things on Steemit, I could say that CPMs are amazing here. I mean... 14 cents from 6 views? That's awesome! I can't wait to get to 600, then!
So yeah, this is just a quick article to say that I am still here and still excited. I'm hoping to be able to provide a ton of value in the future and meet amazing people here. Thanks for this opportunity!
