Bitter truth
We often pay deaf ears to the bitter truth cause we prefer the sweet lies that always keeps us in bondage, sometimes we blame others for our own misfortune but the bitter truth is simply the cause of our problem.
One bitter truth about the poor people is that they think that poor people are poor thinkers, ok why are I saying this?
I came across a friend of mine whose family wasn’t rich some years ago but he was damn intelligent, we just got into this discussing and he told me that for him, his is not poor that the poor people are the poor thinkers, and I just asked him what about the rich dumb ones that eats in fancy restaurants and eateries, are they also poor?
He said they are poor in intelligence which I didn’t argue with him, but I told him that being poor is a decision made by you or your parents not even God or even the Government of the country that he was blaming during the discussion.
We should manage our time very well and think of things that would alleviate us not covering our mind with the bitter truth, I came across a speech made by an American president (forgotten the actual president)
He said
An African man can’t think about himself for a year
And that’s the bitter truth which we all know but we keep dropping the blame on others, I tried doing a TV show during my SS2 like a vox pop TV show (trust me I have done crazy things)
So with my nokia Asha 201 I went to the street interviewing anyone I see and asking them why they are in there present situation and 90% of them blamed it on the government while the rest are just beating around the bush, only an elderly man told me he has all the blame on himself.
The truth is always the bitter part in life and should be invaluable that’s the only way we can improve , The bitter truth is always better than the sweet lie, before you discipline anyone, first of all you must be discipline and you should show example not living in sweet lies.
Always hope for the best, but prepare yourself for the worst cause life isn’t fare and that’s the bitter truth.
