I had several ideas for this week's theme but finally decided to use the one below because to my mind it fits the criteria the closest and the best. About 8 years ago, our company held its Christmas party and the theme was masks. Everyone who attended had to wear a mask of any kind. Fortunately, my son had a Kabuki Mask which he said I could use for the party. What is a Kabuki Mask? A Kabuki mask is a type of theater mask that is used in kabuki theater. But what is Kabuki? Kabuki is a type of traditional Japanese drama that has been performed for centuries. The word "kabukic" comes from three characters: ka meaning song; bu about dance skill; kic which means art form. Often made out of wood, lacquer or cloth, the Kabuki Mask is used to portray a variety of characters including gods, demons and other historical figures.

The Mask has 3 colors: Red, White and Black. In Kabuki Red represents anger, passion and violence. White means purity, honesty and virtue. And Black stands for evil, darkness and death.

And now, after this introduction, I guess you already know what I will be entering for this 4th Edition of the PhotoChain Challenge. It's a picture of me in a Kabuki Mask which is the mask I wore in our Christmas Party. Here it is:
