Pedestrian Pigeons - A Feathered Friends Contribution

This is a photo I took last year which I also posted in Facebook with the caption that read: "In Davao everyone observes the pedestrian lane. No exception."

For those not in the know, Davao is a city here in our country, the Philippines. It is more popularly known as the city where our current president, President Duterte, was mayor for almost 2 decades and has been voted almost every year as one of the top ten safest cities in the world. Not only are the residents warm and friendly but are law abiding as well. Especially with the observance of traffic rules and regulations, including the pedestrian lanes.

Anyway, these pigeons hang around this area for reasons only they know.

Perhaps to sun themselves or maybe wait for people to feed them some biscuits or bread crumbs.

Here's another look at the three pigeons crossing the street. Note, one of them was not on the line and another one seemed to remind him that he should stay inside.
