Along The Costa Marina Beach Resort - A Wednesday Walk Contribution

Our city, as most cities and even countries now, are on lockdown or enhanced community quarantine to slow down or arrest the spread of the COVID-19 virus. This has prevented me, a senior citizen, from leaving my home as we are one of those ordered to stay put being in the high risk category. As such, for this Wednesday Walk post, I will be sharing a trip to a beach resort my family and I took about 2 years ago. The name of the resort is Costa Marina.

Picture below shows yours truly with my grandson, daughter, son and my wife on the far right side as we entered the resort.

The resort is on the other side of the city. In order to reach it we have to take a 10-minute boat ride along with other guests. The loading area is about 150 meters away from the parking area so we have to walk that distance to get to the boat. Photo below shows our group walking towards where the boat awaits us.

View of the beach. It is low tide which is good for my grandson so he can frolic along the beach safely.

And off to the beach goes me and grandson!

That's the section we chose to situate ourselves. Note that there is practically no one around the resort as this was during a weekday. The weekends are different. The place will be full of guests. That's why we chose to go on a weekday.

Of course playing in the sand to make sand castles and other sand creatures is a must.

Tide is now super low. In order to swim, one must go to the edge of the pier.

And finally, it's time to go home.

Another boatride back to the city. But this time guess who's out of it already and in dreamland?
