Travel Blog Munich to Italy #8
Hello my fellow Steemians
As promised, here is the record of our cycle tour through Italy.
On day two we got up at 7 am and had a great breakfast at our hotel called the ‘goldenes roessl’ in Brixen.
The good thing when you cycle all day is, you can eat as much as you want without gaining weight.
We continue on the Brenner to Bozen cycle track and it’s easy enough to follow with good signage along the way. You don’t need GPS although we have it, it doesn’t work that well most of the time because the reception is bad and when it works it is inaccurate and hard to read when there are tracks close together.
Again the route is a mix of riding through forest and fields and riding beside loud traffic.
But we also come across little wonders.
When we cycle into the little village of Chiusa they have decorated the main street with hundreds of colourful ‘floating’ umbrellas. It’s magical and makes the grey day a lot brighter.
We arrive in Bozen in the early afternoon after having booked a hotel online at around noon on our coffee break.
The hotel Greif is awesome and in the city centre and our room is great.
In the evening we explore the city but then it starts to rain and we fear that it will not clear up until tomorrow.
