Curie might already have a bit of delegation and a nice trail, but they have been one of the primary rewarders of good content on Steem since I started here more than a year ago. Almost every time I got a large payout, it was because of Curie. When others stopped curating, curie was still working hard to find good content that deserved rewards. With Steem down this far, projects like Curie need even more delegation, to ensure that they can reward content that's putting something onto the blockchain that's worth having here.
