Todays new silver and gold
So it has been market day and i managed to buy a few bits and pieces. The first i want to show you is a 1921 British half crown, it is the large coin leaning against my beer bottle. It is 50% silver and comes from the reign of George V.
Next up is the gold i bought, i got this for myself and it is a 9ct white gold earring. It weighs 1.4g and it does need to be cleaned before i pop it in my ear, as you can see it has a row of stones but i am unsure what they are.
I was also given two indian head pennies by a friend, they are circulated and i need to check whether i need the dates but they are damn cool.
I am home now writing this post drinking a few bottles of Stella Artois and i want to say kudos to them as this is on the label. This bottle is made from 75% recycled glass, help us increase this by recycling your bottle.

The British crown is awesome! I am going to have to add one of those to the stack/collection one of these days.
