Failed visit to the dentist

I had a dentist appointment today as the filling in one of my canines had fallen out and I needed it refilled. I was there right on time at 11:00 am and as customary I had to go into a chamber this Doctor has to I guess eliminate biohazards. It reeks out some kind of smoke and you have to stay in it for some 15 seconds.

Well I have always had a coughing tic I guess since my smoking days and I have never been able to get rid of it, I think the smoke hit something in my throat and I had a slight coughing fit. So the secretary told me the Doctor wanted to know how long I had had this cough for. I told her at least thirty years. Then the Doctor came out and told me that due to government rules he could not work on me until I was recovered from the cough.

So I told him, no problem I will just leave, that was all I had to say. It goes without saying that this Doctor just lost me as a patient, there are certainly a lot of Dentists in this city so I will just look for another one. And the worst thing is I have been this guys patient for two years and I have always had this cough. Well maybe I can find a cheaper guy.
