A few years ago I was fortunate enough to be able to visit a popular tourist route in India known as the 'Golden Triangle'. This covers Delhi, Jaipur and Agra. If there is any interest for it I am planning on writing a few stories on here to show you my travels. I'll start with a few snippets of the start of my journey in Old & New Delhi.

First of all - departure from London Heathrow to New Delhi flying with Virgin Atlantic. Travel time was 8hr 30 mins. If anyone has flown with Virgin before you'll know these guys are world class! Jack Reacher was one of the many films I watched during the flight :)

After landing in New Delhi we travelled to Old Delhi for a Cycle Rickshaw ride through "Chandni Chowl" (Silver Street) which is a very busy avenue heading west from the Red Fort.

The traffic here was crazy!

As you can see these Cycle Rickshaw rides are very popular amongst the tourists and take up most of the road space alongside cars and bikes.

My first viewing of a Tuk Tuk! We didn't go on one here but later in the journey we did.

For now I'll leave you with this. This is the Raj Ghat which is Mahatma Gandhi's memorial where he was cremated following his assassination in January 1948. The whole area is very well kept and was really amazing to see in person.

Thanks for reading! All upvotes, follows and resteems are greatly appreciated.
