Not only a moon makes a crescent
Our planets do it too.
It also seems fitting that a crescent saturn should be the final view that the cassini space probe should have on its final and suicide mission that sent it plummeting into saturn's atmosphere.

Crescent Saturn is really cool. I wish I could see it well from my telescope, but I can't. Seeing the rings and moons, though, is really cool.
