December 6th - After reading this...
We come onto steemit to, among other things, read.
Not all reading material is of the same worth.
Some should be studied more deeply than just glossed over.
Some things we read can have a massive impact on the trajectorty of our lives.
Scripture does that for me. Lets invite this impact into our lives and into the lives of others.
This is the sixth way of serving in 25 ways over 25 days leading up to Christmas.
Its easy:
- watch the short clip
- follow the instructions
- make it happen
- then tweet or otherwise share your results using... #lighttheworld... encourage others to participate
- 25 days is enough consistency to form a new habit...
If every day this December we are slightly more mindful of others we may find ourselves with a new great habit to continue into the new year and beyond.
THREE SIMPLE WAYS TO GET INVOLVED
- Post your favorite scripture on social media.
- Text a scripture to someone who may need a boost.
- Set your morning alarm 15 minutes early for scripture study.
OTHER WAYS TO PARTICIPATE
- Take some time to memorize a favorite scripture.
- Download one of these scripture apps to make gospel study more convenient.
- Listen to scriptures during your commute this week.
- Find three scriptures that represent you. Share them with someone close to you.
- Put a scripture app on the home screen of your smartphone.
- Give a book of scripture to someone as a gift.
- Visit JustServe.org for more ways to #LIGHTtheWORLD in your community (U.S. and Canada only).
