December 4th - Need a tune up?
Life is busy and oh, so distracting, no wonder we get out of sync with the infinite.
It's hard to spare a thought for others when we haven't made time for a thought for ourselves and a little introspection - the ultimate "me time"
We can more effectively help others when we are in tune with the greatest helper of all.
It fitting that this sunday we do a little personal repair work to make us into a more useful instrument of service.
This is the fourth way of serving in 25 ways over 25 days leading up to Christmas.
Its easy:
- watch the short clip
- follow the instructions
- make it happen
- then tweet or otherwise share your results using... #lighttheworld... encourage others to participate
- 25 days is enough consistency to form a new habit...
If every day this December we are slightly more mindful of others we may find ourselves with a new great habit to continue into the new year and beyond.
THREE SIMPLE WAYS TO GET INVOLVED
- Make a goal to kneel and offer a prayer to Heavenly Father every day in December.
- Read and share this account of Jesus worshiping His Father.
- Attend a church service in your area—you’re always invited to one of ours.
OTHER WAYS TO PARTICIPATE
- Help clean or maintain a church building.
- Discuss with someone what it means to worship God. Make a goal to improve in this area.
- Visit a temple or other religious site.
- Visit JustServe.org for more ways to #LIGHTtheWORLD in your community (U.S. and Canada only).

Hi @gavvet
Thank you for sharing. This one is very easy to do, the Nike slogan is very appropriate here - "Just do It"
Too true...
