Byteball needs to sort out airdrop referral rewards snipers
We see that people have been gaming the account creation and rep system for byteball airdrops for accounts of 30 and 40 rep.
Byteball has put out a mechanism to thwart this.
https://medium.com/byteball/steem-attestation-announcement-modified-rules-4d1bc4bf4458
Here is an example of the method that was published by a steemian on the net of how to Rape the Airdrop
https://thebot.net/threads/how-to-rape-the-gbyte-steemit-airdrop.407564/
We do however have another set of abuses of the Airdrop happening and this relates to the referral rewards. I've been able to replicate the process, another attestation fee amount is sent to the new account just before the attestation fee is paid. This results in the referral reward being sent to the sender of the second transaction.
This is the address of the sender:
44R37P66K2F3H3QBHAN6ULHYV3OWCAGI
and as we can see they have been pretty successful:

Holy hell! That person is cashing out! It seems like @royalmarco has a solid solution.
I wish people were just thankful that byteball decided to do this and allow people to participate, rather than trying to scam the system. People are too greedy, take the 20-160 bucks and be done with the airdrop and help someone if they need a for tokens to get their wallet approved.
It is unfortunate that people find ways to take advantage of every situation.
To protect from this kind of abusing it is needed to change the system of rewarding.
Rep 50 to 55 reward $10
Rep 56 to 60 reward $20
Rep 61 to 65 reward $40
Rep 66 to 70 reward $80
Over 70 reward $160
I like your thinking how to make the changes so they wouldn't effect yourself :)
As to solving the byteball side of the problem downloading the wallet with a simple refferals code would be enough
As to steems side of the problem as in easy manipulation of the rep score especialy for the below 40 dunno seems very much connected to the problem of paid voting services as to the solution I don't know im a user not a dev
We know who many of theese scammers are snipping address from other peoples posts asking for attestation fee even though already attested Downvote the fuckers into the ground!
this also happened with me i am think they are just making fool of us. as we are really in need of $ they are just reading our mind set and trying to make us fool. by this process they wanna gain a huge popularity.

What Is This?
He wants some byteball probably LOL
Not to make a fool, they want it to be popular, that's why all the user interaction and changing the rules only when there is too many cheaters. It would have been pointless airdrop if only 1000 people had heard about it, but now already almost 40 000 have done it. https://byteball.co/attestors
Hey follow me for Trending ICO Reviews
The best way would be to reduce the referral to maybe once in a week and screen out account with reputation less than 30
I'm all lost tompek how to let me back again ..
Spammers are misusing this airdrop. Steem has to raise the level and make the criteria for airdrop and at least eligibility for reputation 50. By this way spammers can be reduced to so much extent. Upvoted!!!
@gavvet It would have been better if they had done something to negate all that has happened.
recently many are trying to create a new account.
Yeah, there are lots of users who did Scam with this free airdrop. I was shocked when I read a blog by @themarkymark and he mentioned in that blog, that a user created more than 60 account to earn extra token free.
Why people are doing wrong with a great GBYTE coins free airdrop, people should be lesser Greedy..
Just imagine, with 60 accounts the scammers can get at least $600. That's a lot of money
Not man! He is blocked by @themarkymark
If you want to read blog just go to @themarkymark account and you will find there the full story of that guy..
