A Certain Man Had Two Sons
Which of the sons had the greater challenge of character?
How did the Father deal with both? and how effective was it.
The breadth and depth of this parable never ceases to amaze me and this is a marvelous depiction thereof.
The text is from Luke 15:11-32

There are verses in Jeremiah 31 - that reminds me of the story of the prodigal. It's one I hold close to me. Jeremiah31:15-17...Rachel is weeping for her children;
She refuses to be comforted for her children,
Because they are no more.”
16Thus says the LORD,
“Restrain your voice from weeping
And your eyes from tears;
For your work will be rewarded,” declares the LORD,
“And they will return from the land of the enemy.
17 “There is hope for your future,” declares the LORD,
“And your children will return to their own territory.
