Maravakandy Dam
Maravakandy dam was built in 1951, initial years of Indian independence, the power house was built on moyar river by Tamil nadu electric board. This dam is just not a power generation point but it is also well know as swimming pool for wild elephants. The dam is surrounded by lush of greenary and forest, which is home of huge populated wildlife. This dam is visual treat of both nature and wildlife.
