Let's talk about entrepreneurship
- To take risks of all kinds.
- To register a company.
- To create a product.
- To improve everything or anything that comes into your hands, whatever it is, to leave it better than when you received it.
- Invent something.
- Work selling ice cream at the terminal when you can't get a job in a company.
- Be a Youtuber
- Give workshops, talks or conferences.
- Organize an event.
- Launch yourself as a performer or form a band or musical group.
- Create a Facebook page or group on any topic.
- Start a social project.
- Pick up and take care of one or more sick animals found in the street.
- Aspire to climb the ladder in the company where you work.
- Organize a birthday party for your 75-year-old grandmother.
- Create a foundation or an NGO.
- Create a union, political party or citizen's movement.
- Give more than what is expected of you.
- Give more than what is expected of you.
And applying it to Hive or Steemit or Noise, which are the networks where I do life, we could talk about:
- Creating a community.
- Create a healing project.
- Organizing a challenge, initiative or contest.
- Open a Discord server.
- Having a radio program.
- Write a post protesting and criticizing what you don't like about the Hive system.
- Create a healing trail (only trail, not project).
- Develop an application.
- Organize virtual or in-person events about Hive, Steemit or Noise.
The above list are ways to be an entrepreneur. This short post, is about what entrepreneurship is and if we all can or want to be entrepreneurs.
"There are two types of people, those who make things happen and those who see things happening", (or those who stand by and watch, as you like, even if they do nothing).
If you are a person who considers yourself an entrepreneur, then you can identify with the definition given in the Dictionary of Authorities of 1732, which defined this word for the first time as: "The person who undertakes and is determined to do and execute, with resolution and determination, some considerable and arduous operation".
There is something that I consider a mistake and that is that today everyone wants to be an entrepreneur or believes that everyone wants to be an entrepreneur. And no, friends, not everyone is an entrepreneur, but also not everyone wants to be an entrepreneur. There are people who are happy being the way they are: employees, followers, observers, consumers. In fact, we seem to forget that these people are necessary in this ecosystem. Because let's see, can a company be a company without employing workers? can there be a leader without followers? what would be the life of an artist, be it musician, painter, actor, dancer, without people watching or following them? what would be the life of a content creator like us without people following and reading us? do you think a company or a brand can survive without consumers buying their products? Absolutely not. Each role is necessary, one without the other cannot exist or subsist. And that applies to real life as well as virtual life, both for Pinterest, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Tumbrl, Reddit, Steemit and of course Hive.
For this reason, if you are an entrepreneur - which you probably are if you are in Hive - do not consider yourself the last little bottle of Coca-Cola in the Atacama Desert, do not think that we are members of an exclusive club, that we are as we say in Venezuela "the ice cream daddies". Yes, we are important, entrepreneurship is vital in this world, in life in general. Much of what you see around you was made by an entrepreneur directly or indirectly. And that is the value of entrepreneurship, the ability to have the initiative, to solve a problem that exists, to create something that makes things easier for others or for oneself. Let's keep humility above all and let's use with great responsibility that entrepreneurial nature with which we were born.

hello @garybilbao
This is a good post, denoting that when talking about entrepreneurship there is so much to do, but I very much agree, this is not for everyone. The pressure that can be generated from starting some activity is not easy, and not receiving support, even knowing that we can fail in the attempt is something that not everyone is prepared for, it is a reality.
Best regards.
It is definitely not for everyone, not everyone wants to and not everyone can. Entrepreneurship involves risk and not everyone is willing to assume it.
Thank you for your visit.
Entrepreneur are strong people they fought with everything they have to make their dreams comes through which is to invent or be there own boss, they don't believe in it is not possible they makes it possible by all means.
