Ahoi Ashatmi Pooja Celebration

hello friends... how are you all..?? 'm here again to tell you one another interesting festival of India. The auspicious Ahoi Ashatmi celebrated every year after karwa chauth throughout the india. This is also one day festival, in this mother used to keep fast wholeday for the longevity and happy life of their child. Actually Navarti brings the array of festivals, one after the another festival is celebrated. The ahoi Ashatmi celebrated eight before the diwali puja and fourth day after the karwa chauth. Now you have a question that in India why every fast is kept by women only, really guys i also don't the reason behind it, these are the custom followed by ancestor from generation to generation.

This festival is similar to karwachauth, in this women keeps fast but can drink tea, coffee or water for the longevity and well being of their child, irrespective of gender. In this after doing all the puja ceremony women break their fast after sighting of stars.

This is puja plate decorated by mother, in india every puja is done by flowers, aarti(fire) ,rice , some sweets and roli(red mud). In this puja rituals, goddness Ahoi poster is stick to the wall. In this raddish, water caltrop(singhada) and rice are kept inside this seven mud pot before to goddness Ahoi. The eldest member of the family narrates the story of ahoi mata. After the completion of puja the black thread is tied to everyone wrist and put the tilak on forehead and get the prasand(sweet). This is how we use to celebrate our festival.

After all the puja rituals, womens use to sighting the stars, give the water to stars just by droping in the floor, join their the hands, pray to god gives their child a long and healthy life. After that women breaks their fast.
