My introduction to steemit.
Ok... I'm finally getting this done. Haha. I am a guy that loves nature and lives in the woods in Illinois. I live alone now but have had a great life in this world. I have 4 awesome kids ( not sure where they got that from, haha ) I love to grow my own food and preserve it with ether freezing or canning it. I have been this way most of my 55 year old life. I am retiring in 2 months from the carpenters union and am very excited to have more time with family and to grow a bigger garden so I can set up at farmers markets again. I have about 2 doz chickens, and 2 cat's and am getting and puppy just after I retire. I'm alone for now but am fine with that for now. I hunt, fish and garden. I have a motorcycle too and love to ride.. I love the fact that I'm so self sufficient. If SHTF tomorrow, I am ready here at the Funny Farm. I really don't need any services from municipality's. I'm set up here almost off grid. So this is me and here I am. Thanks, Garden Gnome
