True Patriot Picture of Canada, The Beaver and a flag
As we approach Canada's 150th Birthday this July 1. My sister found this just outside of our National Capital Region. The Beaver is one of our national figures, and this is a beaver damn so I found this photo she shared with me, perfect. The beaver is on our 5 cent coin. Enjoy.

Hi @gardengirlcanada I wanted to tell you about a new joiner that lives in Canada also. He just moved from Toronto to New Brunswick. He is @whitefish
He works as a tree cutter and he taught himself how to find safe plants to forage from the woodland areas. He likes to garden too. He has two small children. I was just hoping that more people could find him and help him feel welcomed.

hey sure! just checked, dont see any intro post
Thank you @orionsbelt for checking. I don't think he has an intro post. I found him in the "new" posts - and read one of his articles and then went to his site. He seemed really new. I liked most all of what he posted - to me it's all very good quality. To me he seems like a naturally talented individual. I wanted to find other Canadian posters to come to his site and welcome him. That's when I found the @gardengirlcanada post with all of you Canadians over here. So I got the idea to let all of you know about him. I don't know if this was an appropriate way to go about it, I just went with the idea. So far, at least 3 people from this post has responded. At least they know about him. He will probably do fine, at least I hope so.
Thanks again for at least wanting to help a fellow Canadian that has just been here a few days.
