No Bake 4 ingredients ready in 20 mins.....PEANUT BUTTER CONFETTI BARS....Gluten Free.....TO DIE FOR

in #food7 years ago (edited)

This recipe is quite popular in the western part of the world, because it is so easy to make, requires no baking, it's naturally Gluten Free and it is relatively cheap to make. I have been making these for years and years. I do not know a single person who does not like them. LOL So I thought let's share this little Gem on the Blockchain, and not keep this a secret much longer.

They are called Peanut Butter confetti bars. Here is the recipe. (Seriously, the easiest way to do this is put it in the microwave and usually about 1.5 minutes in mine and everything is melted just right and no waiting to cool.)

Ingredients:
1/4 cup margarine or butter
1/2 cup smooth peanut butter
1 cup Butterscotch chips or if you would like the chocolate ones change to semisweet chocolate chips
8 oz (250g) bag multicolored miniature marshmallows or the white ones doesn't really matter

Now here is what you do:

Get a pan for the oven or the microwave, whichever method you will use to melt the ingredients. Put the butter and the peanut butter and butterscotch chips in and warm to melt them on medium to low heat. Take a 9X9 pan and grease it and set it aside.

Now it is important to let this cool for 5 minutes so that when you pour it in the pan all the creamy liquid just does not sink to the bottom while it is in the fridge setting. Place in fridge for about 20-30 minutes to set, then you should be good to go to cut up into squares. It is that easy FOLKS.

Here is a picture of the chocolate confetti bars

Have fun with this. Sometimes I add Rice Krispies to give it a crunch. Go wild with it.

Happy Trails

Oh my gosh, this looks so delicious! I think I'd go for the chocolate one though :D

Yes they are an absolute favorite all around. Every church supper, bake sale, school fundraisers, they sell these, but funny thing is, that you cannot go into the grocery store and actually buy them. LOL glad you like them.

Since a little while, you can buy things like these here in the grocery store actually! The chocolate one that is... I completely forgot the name though :D
