Donald Trump psychologically abused and raped his first wife, Ivana

Donald Trump uses his money to erase the past, and the rape and abuse of his first wife is no exception. Because of that, records have been sealed and since Ivana was given $14 million in cash to sign a GAG order not allowing her to speak about her marriage with Trump, I have pieced together excerpts from different articles and newspapers to help tell the story. Here is the story.

The divorce case between Donald and Ivana #Trump was granted on the grounds of his "cruel and inhuman treatment" of her, according to a report in the New York Times in December 1990.

Here is an excerpt from the New Yorker....
The part of the book that caused the most controversy concerns Trump’s divorce from his first wife, Ivana. Hurt obtained a copy of her sworn divorce deposition, from 1990, in which she stated that, the previous year, her husband had raped her in a fit of rage. In Hurt’s account, Trump was furious that a “scalp reduction” operation he’d undergone to eliminate a bald spot had been unexpectedly painful. Ivana had recommended the plastic surgeon. In retaliation, Hurt wrote, Trump yanked out a handful of his wife’s hair, and then forced himself on her sexually. Afterward, according to the book, she spent the night locked in a bedroom, crying; in the morning, Trump asked her, “with menacing casualness, ‘Does it hurt?’” Trump has denied both the rape allegation and the suggestion that he had a scalp-reduction procedure. Hurt said that the incident, which is detailed in Ivana’s deposition, was confirmed by two of her friends......

Before Hurt’s book came out, Trump’s lawyers pressured the publisher, W. W. Norton, to paste a clarifying statement from Ivana into the flyleaf of every copy. In it, she confirmed that she had said in a deposition that her husband had “raped” her, but added that she did not want those words to be interpreted in “a literal or criminal sense.” She also said, “As a woman, I felt violated.” Hurt said that he considers the note a non-denial denial, and believes that Ivana agreed to amend her words in order to secure the divorce settlement, in which she reportedly received fourteen million dollars in cash."

The amendment by Ivana Trump coincided with the 14 million dollar cash divorce settlement she received, but also with a GAG order to not be able to speak about their relationship to anyone unless granted permission by Donald Trump. It is important to note that she amending a statement she made under oath, and she did not take an oath to make this statement.

"During a deposition given by me in connection with my matrimonial case, I stated that my husband had raped me.
I wish to say that on one occasion during 1989, Mr Trump and I had marital relations in which he behaved very differently toward me than he had during our marriage.
As a woman, I felt violated, as the love and tenderness which he normally exhibited toward me, was absent. I referred to this as a ‘rape,’ but I do not want my words to be interpreted in a literal or criminal sense.
Any contrary conclusion would be an incorrect and most unfortunate interpretation of my statement which I do not want to be interpreted in a speculative fashion and I do not want the press or media to misconstrue any of the facts set forth above.
All I wish is for this matter to be put to rest."

Proof in that she did not agree with that statement she made, likely because of the $14 million in cash, is shown in her attempt to have the GAG order dismissed, which was retaliated by Donald Trump with a lawsuit against her seeking $25 million in damages.

The Economist also published this,
"When Mr Trump divorced the first of his three wives, Ivana, he let the New York tabloids know that one reason for the separation was that her breast implants felt all wrong." which was backed up by The Washington Post.

The Atlantic wrote
"That was Trump’s style. He leaked stories to the New York tabloids about Ivana’s breast implants — they didn’t feel right. Marla Maples, by contrast, suited him better. She, proving her suitability for the man she was eager to steal from his family, told the papers that her encounters with the mogul were “the best sex I’ve ever had.” It wasn’t just Donald Trump’s betrayal that caught my eye, nor just the tawdriness — it was the cruelty."

Vanity Fair wrote
" Ivana told her friends that Donald had stopped sleeping with her. She blamed herself. “I think it was Donald’s master plan to get rid of Ivana in Atlantic City,” one of her assistants told me. “By then, Marla Maples was in a suite at the Trump Regency. Atlantic City was to be their playground.”"

The Independent.co.uk wrote
"In The Mad World of Donald Trump, English television presenter Selina Scott claimed Mr Trump became "extremely abusive" and wrote 13 letters attacking her when he realised he wouldn't have control over a profile film she was making about him.

She said: “It surprises me that any woman in America can vote for this guy.”"
