dreams for the solar van project....

So....

Finding out that actually the amount of power that I am going to need for my PS4 and the projector is quite significantly less than I was thinking.

Let us just say I add in a refrigerator as well... that won't be as huge of a draw as I thought it was going to be.

Also hoping that I can put in an extra alternator in place of the air conditioning pump. I could definitely wire that so that I can charge while driving.

But batteries and next panels... Less than $200 for a 200+ watt panel is looking nice. Just how to set it up with skylight...

Maybe I need a different van. Or would have to wire in various sized panels to maximize the space.

Anyone know more about Solar? I'd love n electronic guru!

But yeah that's a step I'm looking at very soon. And have money set aside for this project. Let alone if I decide to start using some of the SBD for this....

But looking into this I seen a guy doing it already. So with his math 2x 100 watt panels and a controller and 2 batteries he was good to go. I'm looking at the 200+ panel to start with let alone maybe 2 if I can manage it. So nearly 500 watts and maybe 3 batteries? Well the van has room for a second battery in the engine compartment and I have mad space for storage under the skirts.

But with a fridge? Might want to have a dedicated battery system just for that? Hmm that's a thought... Have it dual charge both? Hmm...

And nice the fact I'd have 2 alternator generators boosting while driving.

I'd love to be playing games tonight! The ps4 controller crapped out and just got a new one. And for about half price too. Just gonna be nice having a good Controller again.

But now the game changer is I have a RIF Cube projector.... Which is microUSB charged.... So huge screen size. Low power or way less than the calculated amount for a TV...

Let alone where am I going to set it up for comfort and view? Sigh.

Way too baked. But it's going to happen.
