I don’t think it will affect dTube much people who use dTube aren’t simply going to desert the platform without a big monetary incentive to do so or if Steepshot offers to preserve all content indefinitely
I think it will be a complimenting services ideal for short format videos like tiktok is and vine was! Users can see Steepshot as more of a daily sharing tool while dTube can be for more polished content

I was referring to abuse though. Do you think the short video system will be ABUSED since only a 20 seconds video can be uploaded?
If it will, how do you think the outcome of video content on the blockchain will be on a long run with the two platforms?

I don’t think you can label it as abuse because short form video is hugely popular at the moment! This is what people want to see! It allows you to create bite sized content that’s easily ingested and easy to respond and is great for people with limited bandwidth!
With any site theirs abuse that’s impossible to fix! As steemians I think we focus way to much on the outlier trouble makers and not enough on the good peeps who if we continuously support would drown out the effect of abuse
