  My personal opinion:

I'll start with a confession: I have a very bad time with horror movies and games. Specifically, with those who create this terror through fright, although it is not necessary much to make me jump in the seat. Despite this, terror has something that attracts me irreversibly, especially when it is included in science fiction. But ... why do I speak of fear if The Station is not a horror game?

Creating tension or suspense in a video game is complex. The interactivity makes us feel more tense than before a movie, and for this it is necessary to polish not only the controls but also the stage itself. Because the corners, the closed doors and the windows are the points where we are in balance between what we see and what we do not. So to speak, terror also has some architecture and some sound. Interactivity makes these elements come together, because developers have to rely on that chaotic force that is a player

They say that curiosity killed the cat, but the second part of the saying is that satisfaction returned it to life ("curiosity killed the cat, but satisfaction brought it back"), and it is probably curiosity that made me decide to play The Station.
