I'm slowly becoming less of a noob at Fortnite

So I've been playing Fortnite for a little while now and have just discovered the Combat Pro and Builder Pro controller options in the settings.

What this means, is that you can choose your button layout to suit your preferred play style. I've been playing with the default controls for ages. And while this has been fine, my building speed is crap and I know that if I can build better my chance of getting that 1st place victory is so much better.

Lately I've been getting into the top 10 in almost every game. And last night I finished 5th in a couple of games with 8 kills under my belt.

The reason that I failed at getting a better score is that the guys that were in the top 5 were all awesome at building.

So now I'm giving the Builder Pro controller settings in Fortnite a shot!

My first games with the new settings were an absolute disaster... getting used to this layout is HARD. But I know it will get better!

So if you're struggling to build. I recommend you take the time to get used to the Builder Pro layout. It's going to be a game changer! Pun intended.

How to access the Builder Pro Controller Settings

To get to the Builder Pro setting in Fortnite:

• hit your options button on your PS4 controller while in the lobby.
• Navigate to the cog on the top right side of the screen and press that.
• Then using R1 scroll across to the picture of a controller.
• From there you can choose whichever controller default you want to use!
