A poem for the African child

African child what has gone wrong? Oh how you have lost your way.
African child why shed the blood of your brother? Shall you become another Cain?
African child stop this black on black attacks.
I beg you! Please stop this black-on-black hate.
Look at how the others races laugh at us.
Have you no shame child of Africa. Oh, have you no pride?
Your ancestors twist and turn in their graves, for your actions will not let them rest.
African child remember that black lives matter. Yes BLACK LIVES MATTER.

Oh yes aluta continua. The struggle continues.
When will you come to the realisation that we are not truly free?
Yes wake up and smell the coffee...
Africa is not free until all Africans are free.

Remember our ethos... ubuntu, vhuthu, bothowhat's mine is your, it takes a village to raise a child.
Muthu ndi muthu nga vhathu.
Umuntu ngu muntu nga bantu.
Motho ke motho ka batho.Munwe muthihi a u ?usi mathuthu.These are the foundations on which Africa is built.
Little by little your actions destroy us.

Soon they'll be nothing else to destroy...

For Africa shall be no more.
