When winters breathes its last...
Winter gasps and breathes it's last cold, dead breath
There's signs of life now, tiny buds and sprouts not just death
Bare branches reach upward soon festooned with leaves
Animals rejoice small and large taking their cue from the trees

Snow, rain and hail give way to dew, perfumey scents, other sweet smells
Wild flowers spread unfettered and free covering hills and dells
Birds once silent, too cold to sing, now trill their songs shrill and sweet
Animals recently asleep out seeking their mate, a partner to meet
~
Vibrant colours of every shade a painted canvas vibrant with flowers
Warm air and breezes fresh, clean and new, and longer daylight hours
Off come the gloves, coats and boots, children emerge and laughter ensues
Like forest wild things people emerge smiling, happy, the world renews
~
Winter's gone, but not forever, for now, it's gone and springtime we've got
It will give way to summer, we know, warm weather soon turns into hot
Lets revel in the glory of things old now brand new, get caught in the mood
Walks in the park and picnics too, friends and family eating good food
Flowers that we want to see all times. Spring is the best season to see flowers. I dont like summer because it is very warmful but we get some fruits in the time thats are amazing. After all lovely story

As you all turn from winter to spring, we're going from summer to fall. Winter isn't that far away, so everything you say is the opposite. Which is quite interesting to me, how that works.
Been raining more here, temperatures have dropped, and yet we have our hours of sunshine still. It got into the 80s a little bit earlier in the week. So, summer is trying to hold on. Won't succeed, though. Not here. Too far north for that.
Enjoy. We'll hope for a fairly mild winter like last year and probably get inundated instead. :)
Yeah, it's a bit odd I guess. You're heading into the cold and here it'll be 45 degrees (C) (113F) before too long. I'm not a big fan of the extreme heat but these spring days...Not perfect, but perfect enough.
We'll get to 100 F, which is hot enough, but thankfully, it's more 80s and 90s for the most part. In winter, it's mostly upper 40s and lower 50s for the highs and lower 40s to lower 30s for the lows, with plenty of rain. Once in a while there's snow. Sometimes ice. But mostly rain.
We'll get some winds, occasional hail, thunderstorms, mainly in the summer, some flooding, but for the most part, it's cold and wet.
Spring, especially late spring, is very nice, and so is early fall, which we're into technically now, though the temps have dropped quite a bit.
I'd prefer living in Hawaii or Cancun, Mexico, of course, but it does tend to be more temperate here when stacking it up to other places. Now, if they'd stop trying to pay for everything with a tax, that would be wonderful.
That's the universal common denominator huh? TAX.
I'll have to get myself to the State's someday. I'd love to visit the Arizona in Hawaii. I'll make it happen sometime.

Please do. It's a singular experience. Was not expecting it at all. I have no one that died there and yet... well, I'll leave you to experience it when you get there. :)
We've done the tour twice now and the experience was just as deep as it was the first time.
Yeah, taxes. Death and them seem to go together for some reason. :)
I really enjoyed your poetry. I just love surfing as I get to experience changes in the seasons. I've noticed a lot of rain in our spring time this year and my grass is looking amazing :)
Going to miss the warm weather here..
