Steemwars Day 6: The two standouts...

With @steemwars on the downhill run now I felt it was the right time to call out a couple of posts that have really stood out for me on day 6. It's been a war of attrition with some outstanding posts along the way and I'm pleased to see all combatants have got into the theme of it and kept their posts on target.

Today's stand-outs for the topic of green are:

@gmuxx with an excellent piece on English cricket. Despite admitting to no knowledge of the game whatsoever gmuxx crafted a piece encapsulating the essence of it in England, rain and all. I've since heard the Aussie cricket team have cancelled a tour of South Africa over a pay dispute. Well, it seems English cricket goes on no matter what in England! @j-vo has also impressed with some excellent greenish photography she created herself. My favourite is the waterfall but she's crafted a great post with some nice shots. Head over to her blog to check out the post.

I want to thank everyone for participating in steemwars so far and urge you to continue through to the end. This is a great chance to showcase your creativity, your photography and writing skills and well, just about anything you want. Thanks to @sirknight for devising and launching steemwars and supporting it along the way. It's been an interesting concept and I've enjoyed reading the submitted posts. But let's not forget this is a war and there can only be one victor. Also, we all know that history is written by the victor so keep battling away, get your (steam)war-on and charge!

Now, to finish up here's a couple of greenish images of my own just because I feel left out of the war as an arbiter. I'd rather be in the trenches getting after it but someone has to remain impartial and report the news. (No fake news here boys and girls, just the cold hard facts!)

This was taken above Spear Creek in South Australia. I was four-wheeling to the top of the mountains (Southern Flinders Ranges) to a spot where hang-glider pilots launch. Spectacular views.

And this one was taken just north of the town of Ballina, New South Wales. Ok, so thins one's green-blue...You got me.
