Happiness is seen as the common ultimate goal for all humans, despite the fact that it is attained in a myriad of ways. Yet that’s another belief that we’ve always held to be true. But does that mean that it necessarily is? While I believe that no one could possibly want a life with a maximum of pain and a minimum of happiness, happiness doesn’t or shouldn’t necessarily be the ultimate goal for all human beings to strive toward.
Possibly a person should just strive to live their best life, be the best version of themselves that they can be, as their major/ultimate goal. The rest will take care of itself. You think?
