Japan is a country that always fascinated me. I think it's started when I was a child by watching Japan animes at the TV, playing Nintendo Video Games, Trading card games etc...

I promised myself to travel in Japan at least one time in my life. And this dream became true when last month I went and stayed 10 days in Tokyo.

This is my story

Step 1: The preparation.

When you plan to travel so far, you must prepare yourself about the things that you will do and how you will do it.
In Tokyo, the subway is the most convenient way to travel in this city. You can reach easily and quickly each districts. I recommend you to buy when you arrive at the airport to buy the "Tokyo Subway Ticket" it's a ticket that will give you free access to all subways in Tokyo for 1,2 or 3 days depending of which ticket you will buy. It's only accessible for tourist (you have to show your passport when you are buying it) but the price is really accessible. It will cost you about 1500 Yen (around 13$) for 3 days.

Step 2: Visiting
Tokyo has a lot of districts and each one is different.

Ueno :

This is the cultural district. Where you will find museums and the famous Ueno Zoo where the Pandas are the stars. The enter price is also really attractive. Only 600 Yen (5$) This zoo is really particular as it's implemented in the city and you can see all around from inside.

Akihabara :

Akihabara is the Electronic district. You will find there all the brand new laptop, mobile phones etc...
This is also where you will find Maid Cafe (I really not suggest you to go there)

I went in one in order to try because it's a bit popular for the tourists but I clearly been scammed. In fact by just been in the bar you will have to pay a "Tax" and have to pay it again each hours you stay ! and the coffees are really expensive. You will have also to sing if you want it and if you want to order something you will only be able to call the maid by saying "Miaou Miaou" (with the gesture...)

The most popular places are clearly the Arcade Stations. You can find a lot in this distrist. You can play video games and UFO Catcher you can get animes figures and a lot of goodies. it's also easier to catch something interesting unlike amusement park where most of the time you spend a lot for a small prize
