Short Story: Steemit Dilemma
Hello everyone! I wanted to share to you a story that I wrote impromptu yesterday while waiting for my laundry. I wanted my thoughts to flourish on this one. This is a story of a Steemian who once had a lot of questions in mind. This is not another steemit love story, nor a catchy story like the usual things I wrote. This is a story about being in dilemma. This is the story of Lisa. I know some people could relate to this, but anyway, let the story telling begin.
It is raining cats and dogs outside again. There is nothing to do outside because my friends opted to stay at home tonight. I felt so depressed because I could not think of what to write. I wanted to clear my mind. I wanted to have it filled with wonderful ideas like how it was before. But I could not.
I wanted to hang out with them and then morning the night. I lay down on my bed after reading good book writing by J. Grisham. It gave me an idea of writing my own suspense-filled book. I guess it would become a hit over Steemit. I laughed and dismissed that thought. Well, he is a writer who has a share of good experience meanwhile I do not have anything to share. My grammar sucks too so probably any publisher would just throw my manuscripts. I laughed again but this time at myself because I sounded so pathetic.
I checked out my blog to see whether my payout rose up. To my dismay, it did not. I hissed at what I saw. The amount of SBD is ten times higher but unfortunately I have no SBD left on my wallet. I do not even want to self-vote because I might look pathetic in the eyes of my followers. I needed 600$ within a week or else I will be reported to the police for an overdue loan. I feel more pathetic to myself. I do not think I have a future in writing stuff such as this one. I do not even think I am an interesting person. No one reads my story, not even my friends.
I feel cold. I feel bored. I have not eaten anything for this day, but I do not feel any hunger inside my stomach. I could only feel a pang of regret from running away from my ex-boyfriend. Do you want to know about him? Oh well, he is just another trash just like me, but a good-looking trash. He said he loves me. I believed in him. Well, we all do at some point of our lives right? We tend to be so gullible when we think we are in love.

It was few day before our wedding day when I found out he is sleeping with a man. Out of all creatures in this world, why not someone like me? I felt cheated. I called the wedding off but he said we should get married because his parents want him too. What a jerk! I told him not to worry about it. His little secret is safe with me. Or maybe not the moment I get drunk. I decided to leave his apartment. There is no point of seeing him every day of my life anyway. I might end up in jail then for choking him to death with the belt of his boyfriend who left the moment I caught them doing something on our bed. Do I need to elaborate it? No, please. It would just make my heart heavy. Yes, that bastard left his belt under our bed because he hurriedly ran away.Anyway, why am I even sharing this to you? Is this even important? Is HE even important?
I do not want to recall any memories from my ex-boyfriend. So I allowed a trail of thoughts to run over my mind.
What if one day someone accidentally puts 1BTC on my account in @bittrex? Would that be great? I would not be pressured to look for a job anymore to feed myself and support previous organizations. I would be forever happy. Yehey! But probably not. I might still be sour-gripping because I called my wedding off.
I feel so alone.
What if I was able to meet incredible people over steemit and ask for some amount to them? Nah. I would look so pathetic.
Or what if I ask a fundme page? Or run a donation campaign on steemit. Or tell people around that for every SBD, I would resteem their post. Oh. That would definitely make me look more pathetic in the eyes of my ex-boyfriend. I sound more like a beggar.
Oh for the love of paying my debt, I need to do something and my ideas make me want to dig my own grave.
I rolled over my bed and checked on some posts. Rule of the thumb, commenting something relevant and nice on other people's posts would boost their confidence to post more great content entries. I checked on the new section. Steemit, I must say, is like the wardrobe from Narnia. You might have entered their accidentally, but once you are there, you do not want to leave that place.
Well, actually, I am a good content writer. I was able to raise the 600SBD that I needed for me to pay my debt. I just accidentally left my phone on the table inside a café nearby my place. I startled when I checked my phone and all my SBD is transferred to a bittrex account. I cried so hard that other customers inside the café thought that I was getting crazy.
Lesson learned, never ever leave your phones behind. Who does? Oh! I think it is just me. Haha!
I dismissed all these crazy thoughts. Earning money over steemit in bad way is definitely easy but I do not want to tarnish or jeopardize my reputation.
And so I came down to a point that Lisa dear, it is all in the mind . The more I think of the problem and focus on it alone; I would become more stressed out. I would just continue on doing what I love, anyway, money comes after. Who am I to complain anyway? There are still a lot of things I could do in steemit. I just need to know what are those.
Thank you for reading. I got to go now before Sunny eats everything in my garden. Have a great day! Photos by the way are from pixabay.com which is free for commercial use .

Love this sis! I'm sure many of us could relate to this. Natatawa lng ako dun sa boyfriend part kasi ang saklap na sa lalaki ka ipagpapalit. Mas okay pa sakin kung may ibang babae nlang kesa ibang lalaki. haha!
But this has happened to one steemian. I do not want to drop her name pero okay lang daw sa kanya.
for real? grabe. kala ko sa mga drama lang to nangyayari 😨
hindi. totoong buhay. i had a boyfriend before. kabirthday kami. nagraramp model pa. mga 6'2 height. jusko. yun pala pareho kami ng hilig ni kuya.
I'm glad this is a 'fiction' story. That's not a good situation for anyone. I'll bet that someone, somewhere is in a situation similar to this though.
I agree with you sir. I hope Steemit is able to help everyone out especially in financial matters.
Napakagaling naman! Partida impromptu lang to habang naghihintay sa labada. Napakahusay, @gailbelga!
Ate naman. Haha! Masarap kasi minsan free flowing ka. Si kuya @st3llar nagsusulat yun habang nasa traffic. Maraming salamat po.
