Dog Haven (Ulog #11)
Our selfies together with our fur buddies from CGY Dog Cuddle Cafe.
When I was in high school, my parents often left the three of us at the ancestral house on our mother's side. It was during a Christmas vacation when an unfortunate event occurred.
My cousin's dog bit me. It was just so embarassing and the same time very painful. It took days after that incident when I received my shots. The anti-rabies were pretty expensive that was why I never bothered to ask for a Christmas present. The vials alone were enough for me. Although a good art set would be okay at that time.
Despite that grim experience with a dog who bit me bellow my belly button, I could not get hold of my love towards dogs.
My Dog Cuddle Cafe Experience
After running some errands, when my mom told me that we will be going to CGY Dog Cuddle Cafe, I never hesitated to answer YES to her.
My younger brother then came an hour after and then we were off to Kauswagan where the Café can be found. You actually commute or bring your own vehicle. The Café's location can be asked over their Facebook page.
It is obvious that I could not wait to meet all the babies because I did not bother to have a photo with the cafés exterior anymore. I have thought that just a quick snap like this one would do.
Aside from the fact that the place is cute, it had also been designed for the smalls dogs to freely roam around. The floor has also been designed in such manner so that the customers would not end up being slipped when being accidentally stepped on a dog's urine.
I actually felt bad though that the big dogs had been caged because the owner might have thought that some of the kids might be ended up being chased by the big dogs.
As what was written, the cafe is really more on dogs and sweets so we bought a few of sweets then and ate it inside. Our order would just add 30 minutes more of our stay since we also need to pay per hour basis. As I could remember, every individual costs Php100.00 for entrance fee.
Anyhow, the dogs are not allowed on the second floor as it has been reserved to customers who wish to eat their desserts.
Meet Some of the Dogs
There were more than twenty dogs inside the dog cafe and I felt like a little kid the moment I saw them all. And I also wanted to bring them home with me since they are all adorable and wanted to be played with.
On this wall are the photos of every dog in the café. There are actually a lot of siberian huskies and labradors. I myself wanted to have one of each kind as well since these breeds are known to be very playful (and expensive haha).
Let us meet a few of them. By the way, the photos that will be presented are not that great since I was solely focused on meeting these lovely doggies instead on taking photos of them.
This big labrador is Aza. At first he was this very shy dog but then my father and I found out that he wanted to be loved. He is not camera shy too. Just look look how much he loves people especially on the last photo with my brother.
Meanwhile these two lovely little labradors are Thanos and ... I forgot the name of the other one though. I am sorry.
The one on the right is the playful type. I was told that he is very playful to the point that when he was able to get off their cage, he took the water hose which caused the water to flow almost everywhere. Together with his pal, they also uprooted all of the plants outside. Haha! Silly dogs!
This pomeranian here is Cream. There are actually two pomeranians. The first one is Cookie (which is not found on the picture by the way). So you see, they are a tandem! Cookie and Cream! Cookie by the way has been separated by the bigger dogs because she tends to be bullied by the basset hounds.
This on the other hand is Cookie. He seems to be very nice but in reality (please do not tell this to him), he has an attitude. He does not like kids a lot. I do not know why he has some issues though with kids. Haha!
And these are some of the siberian huskies! I really want to have a pair of this breed.
This one is Snow. Why snow? Just look at his soft fur!
I forgot the name of this one, but this doggo is just so amusing. He always wanted to do this and is not shy to show to everyone about this expression of him.
Some of the photos are actually in portrait, I just do not know why some are in landscape mode here.
This pug here is Gabby. Such a lovely dog. Actually all loaf bread -- I mean pugs are so adorable.
This duo here love to bite each other's ears.
There are actually lots of dogs but I was not able to takd photos of them because I was too focused on playing with them.
I just want to go back to this place again. I want to tag you along with me then. ☺

Fifteen people die in the U.S. every year from dog bites.
That just sounds bad.
all picture nice
