MEMORIES - Short Film by me

My account was never really made to share other work than my photography, but since I heard quite a lot compliments about my first and only short film, I decided to share it with my beloved followers too!

This short film was made, commissioned by my art school, without any budget and a lot of help from family and my nearest friends! I've been through a lot of rough times, as this was also made during my "Melancholic Beauty Series", I suffered from a severe depression which made it almost impossible to finish this film on time (as it was supposed to be shown at my final year's exhibition). Thanks to the amazing support I got, I actually made it on time (I finished the postproduction the night before my exhibition lol).

Summary: An old man thinks back to his relationship and how they met each other. Due to couples he sees in the present, he goes back into the past with flashbacks and tells his story of an endless love.

This is actually the first time the old man is going to get flashbacks, where he and a younger girl meet each other and have a lovely time together;

                              

They fall in love and get into a relationship together.

                              

The old man sees a young couple fight at the bar and again, it takes him back to the past. (Yes this part is the only part which is spoken in, the actual language is Dutch, but since the subject of the fight doesn't really matter, you don't have to understand it ;) )

                              

In the past, the couple is getting fights more and more often, it's getting to a point where they even barely talk and ignore each other. Are you curious how this story is going to end? Watch the whole film below! ;) (≈ 7min)
