Watching the Live Feed from SteemFest4 Bangkok Filled Me With... Joy!

If you have been watching the live feed video today, you probably understand my choice of words from the title. :)

From a distance, looks like @roelandp did a great job to start off Steem Fest 4 in Bangkok, which of course for him is almost the end of the job, because he's been working on it for many weeks if not longer. So kudos once more Roeland!

While I haven't seen all the presentation from today yet, I believe Steemit, Inc. staff was for good reason in the center of attention on stage (unlike last year), and they did great, in my opinion.

I believe @elipowell has good reasons to be proud of what they accomplished since the tipping point for them with the layoffs, and particularly since she took over as Managing Director of Steemit, Inc.

Listening to @vandeberg how easily he can see all their recent developments fit together and be able to explain that, is reassuring that the pieces will help us build the larger puzzle and move us closer to tokenizing the web.

I'm not sure I've seen @roadscape before. Maybe I'm wrong. I've listened to him on a few shows, but with kinda brief interventions. Did he just coin an expression: "first mover disadvantage"? Hmm, being a pioneer was never easy. But when we find the "match", watch out for the ignition of the rocket fuel! He did hint at several points on elements he will elaborate more about in today's presentation about Hivemind Communities, so I'm looking forward to that.

Obviously SMTs were a big topic, and the guys at Steemit actually put together a wizard for anyone without coding knowledge to be able to create a SMT without much trouble.

The wizard was actually showcased in the SMT-related presentation.

The wizard can allow anyone to create a SMT as easy as 1-2-3. Literally! Because there are 3 steps on the wizard, after which the SMT is created.

@vandeberg even said they will simplify the interface, hiding certain options which would have default values (unless you probably select "Advanced" or something like that, to see and change them).

If I follow the same routine as during the Krakow Steemfest, I will be watching everything else I missed from the live feed during the following days, plus re-watch some important parts like Steemit, Inc. presentations.
