I kept asking myself :)

This poem was written by me today when I was under a tree in my father's house,, I jus taught of what happened to a friend of mine and decided to write a poem as related to what actually happened..
And besides its been long I exercised my poetic skills.. So I decided to drop this... I hope you'll enjoy it..

The poem is a twenty line poem..

It's rhyme scheme are as follows :

Stanza 1 -- aaab
Stanza 2 -- abbb
Stanza 3 -- abac
Stanza 4 -- aabb
Stanza 5 -- abac

Each Stanza has 4 lines.

Run on lines/ Enjambment was not used in the poem..

         TITLE --   I KEPT ASKING MYSELF

    And We were still sitting side by side 
    With tears dripping through her eyes
    I could feel the coldness within her
    as her skin remained seemingly hot.

    My heart wept within me
    Her tears I could not withstand 
    I blamed her for her plight
    It wouldn't have happened but for her.

    Could this be love? 
    I can't really say 
    It all happened at once
    In a twinkle of an eye. 

    Her speechless state made me go weary
    The thought within her I could not predict
    My eyeball turned in gaze of her
    Then she looked at me eye to eye. 

     It happened two fortnights ago
     Her love for me multiplied day by day
     Her sexual desire she couldn't control 
     What have I done? I kept asking myself. 

So this is what I came up with .. Please corrections are welcomed... No one is an island of knowledge..
It's been long I wrote poem...
