Will Businesses Embrace Stratis?
One of the cryptocurrencies I’ve been accumulation is called Stratis (STRAT). It’s essentially a blockchain development platform. Stratis provides solutions to businesses and developers so that they can develop and release blockchain-based applications.
Right now Stratis has a market cap of $748 million, so it’s not a small crytocurrency. In fact, it’s #10 in the coinmarketcap top 10 right now.
There’s a total of 98,430,870 coins outstanding. Stratis uses PoS and has a low sub 1% inflation rate. Users can stake their coins to earn the PoS reward. In terms of distribution the top 10 addresses held about 26% of the supply.
What’s different about Stratis is they program with C#, a Miscrosoft programming language. From what I’ve read it’s a combination of C++ and VisualBasic. It’s more programming friendly than the Ethereum programming languages, for example.
Naturally Stratis is a partner with Microsoft and is part of their Azure BaaS program. It’s currently on integrating with Azure on its cloud project.
Another interesting fact is the Statris team is also a blockchain consulting team. I think that will go well together with their product.
I believe Stratis will be in the news a lot over the rest of the year. They have an ambitious roadmap.
What’s your thoughts on Stratis?
I'm betting on exactly what you said. Even if Stratis only captures a tiny tiny part of the market that Ethereum did, then Stratis can go 4-5x from here.
I like what I see in STRAT. I think I'm going to download the wallet and stake my coins... see how that goes.
I gave up on staking...just holding for now You need a lot of coins to stake. I think it was telling me 10 or 15 days before a reward.
Good to know, thanks!
Are Stratis and EOs equivalent? I mean: do they provide the same solution? Maybe in different platforms or laguages, but still competitors.
Stratis is a good company, and that's all we need to know, because most of the coins just a homemade projects.
