The Military - Pilot
Beetle Bailey by Mort Walker has been a favorite with me ever since as a Child visiting Grandpa and Grandma finding a large box left behind by one of my uncles full of cartoons from the 1950s and 1960s.
The humor back then was very post world war 2, and the language was more polite and of course any swear words were censored in the talking-bubbles.
So when I started drawing "The Military" a while back, it became obvious that the fist ever published pilot episode had to be a true tribute to his cartoon that have given me many a great laugh in bed late at night or on the toilet early in the morning. So thank you for all the entertainment, and I hope you enjoy this one as well :)
