Dangerous games and cute games
The first part of this post will serve as a warning for all you who love Steam (yeah, Steam, not Steem) and tend to buy various indie games on the platform. While there is nothing wrong with buying indie games, supporting new developers and pushing money to the right people, one must still be vigilant at all times.
Namely, Steam has pulled an indie platformer, where you play as a weird cube and jump thought puzzles, from their platform, as complaints about the game started piling.

Users playing the game realized their computing resources are being stolen to mine cryptocurrencies for the developer and some users even reported being outright scammed out of their hard-earned money, by fooling them buying items for Team Fortress 2, while instead these items were for the silly platformer Abstracticism.
Anyway, luckily Steam was on top of it and removed the game. But let this be a warning for you gamers - or any of you actually - always be vigilant. If your computer randomly starts using excessive amounts of CPU and GPU, there's time for a PC doctor visit. You know that PirateBay mines with your PC, right?
Lets leave the dark side for a minute and visit something much more cute. Pandas!

Interesting, when it comes to money people just stop caring, I mean, if you do stupid things like that you might never get a serious job in the gaming industry anymore...
I guess some miners (scammers?) will do just about anything to mine cryptos. Gotta say this guys are getting smarter as they are even invading the gaming industry. Unfortunately for them, they've understimated gamers, and got caught in the end. Serves them right though. Also, cryptos, games and pandas? Are the developers chinese? Well now, as a lover of these adorable (giant) critters, I need to give this game a look!
