There are times that I find myself pondering around the possible editing style for my photos. And I have to admit that whenever I can’t visualize the outcome of my raw photos then it has to be a black and white image. It works most of the time but it isn’t a guarantee neither.
There are time that I feel that turning a photo into a BNW image is like taking away its life. But in rare cases, as the colors drain out from the image, another life will begin to emerge - it’s the texture.
The texture of the things present into image has popped out and give meaning to the photo.
A tiny insect has enunciated itself from the vast leaves.
A mundane bud of a plant has presented itself with strength.
A rusty barbed has shown its true nature.
These are just few of the cases that BNW can turn a mundane image into an extraordinary one.
