Treasure Hunting
It is almost time for me to get my metal detector out and start searching for lost or hidden treasure. The weather is cooperating for the most part and I am getting excited to go. I just acquired a permission on a property where Lewis and Clark camped near my home in Idaho, they were only there 1 day but it is definitely worth taking a look. I like to hunt historical places such as old homesteads, old town sites, old picnic areas and campground, battlefields and any other historical place I can find. I read about events of robberies where the loot was never found and research it to try and locate where it may have been put down. Yes this is all very exciting and fun in my opinion and I am about to get started. You will see all of the updates of my hunts here if you follow me and I am hoping for some exciting content so if you are wanting to see that then just follow me and lets hit the treasure trove together.

Awesome finds! I'll be following to see what you find next. That liberty bell is really interesting. Is the revolver real? Still havn't found a real gun myself... It's on my list though

I'm in Northern California. I was glad I found your account too, not to many treasure hunters on board yet, it seems. I live in the same county where a guy found a five pound nugget detecting a few years ago. Still haven't found my first nugget yet, but hopefully this is the year...
lol I grew up in the sierra valley and Have hunted gold with some of the reno and sierra clan in the nv gold fields. what town are you in, i was in calpine sierraville loyalton and sierra city. For a short while i lived in forest hill above downiville
I'm in Paradise a little North East of Chico. I was born in Santa Rosa towards the coast. I actually lived in Forest Hill when I was a baby. Lots of crystals and gold down there.
