Steemit is falling apart -again
Do you experience:
- upvoting that just makes the little button spin?
- fetching rewards takes forever?
- posting a piece just freezes?
Well that is the exact same things I experienced last summer. And here we go again...

Falling apart what happen any reason due to EOS.
There was a widespread phishing attempt this morning on Steemit. Its possible they paired it with a DDos attack because people experiencing a glitch will be more likely to try to resign in after clicking on the phishing link thinking its a website issue. Just speculation by me but everyone should beware of phishing attempts that take you of off Steemit and ask for your sign in credentials.
I find it hard to believe that phishing would cause it. DDOS on the other hand...
I get agitated from spinning wheels and hourglasses. Argh...

Just upvoted your post to test... it did take longer than normal. Probably about ten seconds or so before it "took".
Reminds me of the time I had 14.4 modem. Click link - wait - fetch coffee - wait - oh! Wrong page - repeat.
I just wrote a blog using utopian.io and posting it took ages, then error came up saying that website couldn't connect to steemit.com and suggested using a different browser. It turns out that the original attempt was successful after all and I ended up double posting. :(

Hey Dana! Yeah I totally get your experience. Seems like the chain is out of sync with the web layer or something like that...
Yeah, it lags in everything, not just voting. Either too much traffic, or the admins are messing with the hacker crisis.
