Headline: Trump’s ‘That Dog’ Attack Is the Latest in a String of Insults Aimed at Black People

Obviously they are experts on "Black People". This is a good example of what is known as "concern trolling". Thank God they are white though or I would be racist to criticize them.

WASHINGTON — President Trump on Tuesday added his former White House aide, Omarosa Manigault Newman, to the growing list of African-Americans he has publicly denigrated on Twitter, calling her “that dog” and a “crazed, crying lowlife” in the wake of her allegations against him of mental deterioration and racism.

Let me get this right, someone at the NYT, a couple of white people apparently, are keeping lists organized by race of every person Trump insults? And Trump is the racist? Donald Trump would be discriminating if he didn't denigrate ("denigrate" I see what you did there Mike and Eileen) any black people on Twitter, then his Twitter insults would be derided as "too white" like the NYT recently called New Hampshire.

Even for a president who consistently takes to Twitter to assail his adversaries, the morning tweet about Ms. Manigault Newman was a remarkably crude use of the presidential bully pulpit to disparage a minority woman who once served at the highest levels in his White House.

Oh I see, she ought not be disparaged because she is a "minority woman"? And if you do then you are the racist, not the people seemingly obsessed with the fact that Omarosa is a "minority woman" who may not be disparaged, by a white guy anyhow, says these white people.

The tweet reprised Mr. Trump’s repeated use of the term “dog” as a way of dehumanizing critics. It was the latest reminder that the president is more than willing to question the looks and intelligence of African-Americans who challenge him.

How dare he question the looks or intelligence of African-Americans, doesn't Trump know they are exempt?? Doesn't he know he is white and thus not allowed to do that? So here is their theory from the headline and in this paragraph: Trump's use of the word "dog" is racist. That is their premise so far right? If you stopped reading here you could conclude that. Trump must use "dog" as a racist code word!

In recent weeks, Mr. Trump has called Don Lemon, the black CNN anchor, “the dumbest man on television.” He questioned the intelligence of LeBron James, the star basketball player for the Los Angeles Lakers. He has repeatedly said Maxine Waters, an African-American member of Congress, has a “low I.Q.” He called LaVar Ball, the African-American father of another famous Lakers player, a “poor man’s version of Don King.”

How dare he answer his black critics? Really, are they supposed to be exempt? Don Lemon once claimed that a bunch of kids torturing a handicapped kid and uploading it to the internet was "just bad home training". There are a lot of idiots on TV, note they don't say who is supposed to be dumber than Don Lemon though. Maxine Waters once claimed that the Russians invaded Korea, what is her IQ? Trump loves Don King.

On Tuesday, Mr. Trump made clear that he has no intention of moderating his language when he feels under attack, regardless of the criticism that he gets for breaching the comity that normally accompanies the office of the president.
Mr. Trump also renewed his offensive on his attorney general, Jeff Sessions, and blamed him for not putting an end to the investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election.

Fresh from his vacation in New Jersey, Mr. Trump had a light week of scheduled events. He spent much of Tuesday morning tweeting out quotations from people who criticized the special counsel investigation, at times inserting his own opinions.

What else is he supposed to be doing at 4:30 in the morning? He is the only one up and working to make America great again in the White House at that hour I am sure.

The president has been lobbing insults at Ms. Manigault Newman as she promotes her new book, “Unhinged,” about her time in the White House. But calling her a “dog” was jarring, even as he described her as a “crazed, crying lowlife” in the previous sentence.

Gosh, it was "jarring"? I wonder if Eileen or Michael was more jarred. Trigger warning, if you read the following tweet you will be objectively and perhaps permanently jarred.

Mr. Trump has deployed the “dog” insult previously, in one case saying his onetime political rival Ted Cruz “lies like a dog” and, in another, calling Arianna Huffington, co-founder of HuffPost, a “dog.”

Stop the Presses! I am far from an expert, I don't see race or believe in it, but as far as I can tell neither Ted Cruz nor Arianna Huffington are "black" but Trump called them dogs too, they just destroyed their own racial theory right there.

“For Trump to compare people to dogs is entirely consistent with a style of insult that puts people down based on their supposed stupidity and immorality,” said Nicholas Haslam, a psychology professor at the University of Melbourne in Australia. In the English language, the “dog” insult is typically used to convey a person is “morally depraved and stupid,” said Mr. Haslam, who studies the psychology of insults.

That's true but these white people were supposed to be trying to prove that he was racist. Good thing that they had an expert available to define "dog" when used as an insult.

“It’s one of a set of animal metaphors whose purpose is to degrade or demean people by suggesting they are less than human,” he said. “It takes them down an evolutionary notch or two.”

On Monday, NBC released a tape Ms. Manigault Newman made of her speaking to Mr. Trump, which she said was recorded the day after she was fired. In the recording, the president said he knew nothing about this personnel decision and told her, “I don’t love you leaving at all.”
In December, Mr. Trump’s chief of staff, John F. Kelly, fired her in the Situation Room, the most secure conference room in the White House. Ms. Manigault Newman has released a recording of that conversation, as well.

Is that legal? Trump has always inexplicably supported Omarosa, he thinks she is good for ratings.

Ms. Manigault Newman has said she has more audio recordings, and in an interview Monday on MSNBC’s “Hardball,” she said she would cooperate with the special counsel, if asked. “Anything they want, I’ll share,” she said.
The president’s latest attack on Mr. Sessions was packaged among other tweets assailing the special counsel investigation, which Mr. Trump regularly calls a “witch hunt.”

So he insults white people too? Wow, there goes that theory. Omarosa, you don't have shit, they don't even want a copy of your surprisingly accurately named book.

Mr. Trump’s former campaign chairman, Paul Manafort, is currently on trial, accused of tax and bank fraud crimes. He is the first person prosecuted by the special counsel. Mr. Manafort’s attorneys were expected to start presenting his defense on Tuesday.
Blaming Mr. Sessions for not shutting down the investigation is not a new tack for Mr. Trump. The special counsel, Robert S. Mueller III, is already reviewing some of Mr. Trump’s tweets about Mr. Sessions as part of a wide-ranging inquiry into whether the president has tried to obstruct justice.

"a wide-ranging inquiry" is a synonym for "witch hunt". Whatever happened to Trump colluding with Russia to steal the election? Oh yeah, that was bullshit so they have been on a 2 year fishing expedition desperately trying to cook up something on Trump or anyone who ever worked for him.

Mr. Trump also tweeted insults at the former F.B.I. agent, Peter Strzok, who was fired over not following bureau policies. Mr. Strzok had helped to oversee the Hillary Clinton email and Russia investigations. It was later disclosed that he disparaged Mr. Trump in text messages.

I saw that guy on TV, he must be one of those light-skinned brothers or is the theory about Trump's insults being racist they are trying to proclaim utter bullshit?

Great question Mr. President. I'd like to know the answer. I've got another: It is easy to call someone racist, but how can you prove you are not? Doesn't Trump or anyone accused of racism have to then prove a negative? Isn't that impossible?
