Time To Slow Down
Many of the members here are extremely fast and effective workers even in the corporate world.
We are able to complete the work in our day job and allocate a good amount of time for our beloved platform.
Have you ever experienced sudden mistakes that you rarely make especially you are a perfectionist?
When an effective and efficient worker starts to make mistakes, it is an indication of overwork.
It is time for us to slow down our pace.
It is a time that we need to take a slow walk at a park and breathe slower.
Our whole body has been constantly forced to endure high stress to accomplish great result due to our own commitment to do a good job.
We often feel guilty for taking a break because we are too responsible.
When we choose to slow down, we are reconditioning our body and giving it a break from stress.
The fact that many of us continue to work without winding down leading to our bodies starting to develop sickness.
Our bodies are not machines and even machines need to rest to prevent overheat.
Reflect on your own whether it is time for you to slow down the way you work.
You can continue to work but don’t work overtime.
You can continue to work but don’t push yourself to complete too early before the deadlines.
Give yourself more time to complete the work slowly and it also prevents mistakes.
As teachers, we often have daily assignments to mark but it is an indication for us to take a break when we start to make mistakes in our marking.
When we are too blind to see our own need to slow down, our quality of work and the condition of body would both suffer.
