Have A Meal At Food Village
I had a meal at Food Village that is located at Fort Canning Park in Singapore.
It is intended to provide the experience of dining with the surrounding nature around.
There are limited choices but some of the local favourites are available.
We had to make our orders at one of the two counters in the middle.
After ordering, we would proceed to the respective counters with our receipts to collect our food.
Most children would choose western food rather than local food.
The chicken chop would cost S$8.
It would take a bit longer so customers would be given a buzzer.
Once the food is ready, the counter would activate the buzzer to sound for collection.
The children meal would cost S$5 which is still a bit costly for students who are around for a field trip.
The overall experience is quite enriching since we are so used to air-conditioned dining area in Singapore.
