Our Value To The Human Race

Sean Stephenson may be on a wheelchair but he was not limited to his disability.

We often are the ones who have limited ourselves from our possible successes because we do not believe we can do it.

We become prisoners because we are unable to get out of the prisoner mindset.

Below is an inspirational talk by Sean Stephenson at Tedx Talks.

Adaptation

We can never change the way we are physically but we can adapt what we currently have to find possible alternatives to our current state.

All living things survive at challenging environment through adaptation like the camel in the desert that can survive due to the physical adaptation.

We can never change the circumstances that we are in but we can adapt and move forward.

We can progress from where we are and discover how we can make improvements to the current state.

State of being defeated

We need to gain victory from our current state of being defeated not by others but by self-filled prophecy.

There may be many negative comments and opinions around us but the moment we accept them, we are already defeated by our own mental mindset without even trying.

The most crucial start of our victory is to get out of our own defeated state and believe we can make a difference.

We must believe in ourselves before others can see and believe we can do it.

Self-worth

Everyone is of value and no one is useless and worthless.

We are brought to this earth for a purpose that only we can fulfil.

With this mindset, we find our own value as individual to escalate ourselves above our own difficulties beyond the naked eyes.

We are unique and special. We can make a difference just by being who we are.

In Conclusion

We do not need to be the best but we can make a difference in our own lives just by accepting the way we are.

We cannot change physically but we can adapt and continue to make progress from where we are.

We do not need to see how successful are others but we are valuable just by being who we are.

By being a firm believer of this, we can impact the people around us and our family members.
