Online Self-Directed Learning Video
Mr Yong had created 4 videoclips to prepare Primary Six pupils in Singapore for their PSLE Mathematics examination last year.
Pupils were supposed to pause the videoclip for each question and try it on their own before they play to continue the videoclip for his explanation.
His explanation is clear and those determined pupils can definitely benefit from his guidance.
I must say his videoclip is especially useful since my P6 pupils would be taking their PSLE Math examination on 27 September 2019.
I have introduced these videoclips to my pupils but the number of pupils who would use them would be uncertain since I have shared in my past posts that I am teaching a group of challenging pupils this year.
They are usually more concerned about their relationship issues more than their studies.
As a teacher, we must still find ways to help our pupils in various ways.
By introducing these videoclips, pupils can learn on their own when they decide to put in effort to prepare for their Math examination.
I did have couple of pupils who told me that the videoclips had helped them in their revision.
