My Fault Vs Not My Fault
We often see two extreme types of people.
One who always feels that everything that goes wrong is his fault while the other who always feels the wrong is with someone else.
Both types of people must have self-awareness of their own weakness to find a balance.
It’s All My Fault
These people always feel that they are at fault when things do not go well.
They are too quick to see their own mistake and they would look and find minor error to make it an oversized major mistake that leads to their failure.
People with this tendency should try to see things on the brighter side and find out what exactly could have gone wrong before blaming it on themselves.
The failure could be due to unforeseen circumstance and by recognising the actual reason, one can become more reflective and less critical to themselves.
It’s Not My Fault
People who always have a reason when things do not work out.
They would always find fault with others and it is never their fault.
They may even backstab others to escape from possible negative circumstances.
Their pride does not allow them to be at fault.
They would refuse to admit their mistake even when they are obviously wrong.
They must learn to recognise that no one is perfect and everyone makes mistake.
The ability to humble themselves to accept their own mistakes can lead them to learn and avoid the same mistake again.
In Conclusion
Most of us are able to find a balance to cope with our respective weaknesses but there are some who find it hard to see the brutal fact.
Both extreme must learn to reflect before jumping to a conclusion too quickly.
Learning about ourselves is definitely a reflective journey.
