Article VS Engagement
I have been active on a few platforms since last December.
I am still active on steem platform and it is exciting to find out about the new initiative of minnowsupport for Palnet.
I have recently noticed a trend in my posts and I would like to share my reflection.
I have been actively posting my usual educational articles daily but I am also conducting quality comment engagement game on both whaleshares and weku to encourage and educate quality comment on both platforms with different theme daily.
The theme often would be related to what is currently happening on the respective platform to allow members to reflect and think before giving a comment.
We really hate spammed comments and I believe those who have been around would know what I mean.
Through conducting thematic daily comment games, there is definitely an increase of engagement with some regular members participating.
I am encouraging quality comments in this way.
If you look carefully on the pictures that I screenshot from both whaleshares and weku, you would notice my quality comment game is getting more support than my article.
We are all participating on many different social platforms. This sort of engagement activities may just be a good way to engage participants to think and reflect before making a comment.
This is another way to educate members in a fun way rather than flagging their spammed comments without guiding them.
There must be a good purpose in our content creation and support should be given to the right ones to build a good healthy platform.
With this, I guess we can see engagement is one key to gain success on social platform.
