Can you ever have a trending post without Being a whale or trendy?
Can you ever have a trending post without being a whale ? Will you ever achieve more than a couple of dollars per post, if you are just the average joe or even worse me? Has the Steemit god's already pre-decided who will be triumphant and who will fade into the background never to be seen or heard from again?
Many days I ask myself these questions. Though my lack of success may be due to the fact that I am not doing the right things, as the days progress I am starting to run out of ideas. In retrospect I do feel bad for the few fellow steemers that seem to have my blog on a automated upvote sequence, and although these upvotes only amount to a couple dollars a day, there upvotes seem to feel like charity. Not that there is anything wrong with it.
Nevertheless, maybe one day I will just follow the path of so many other steemers and just buy my way to whaledum, but in the meantime and until the cryptocurrency market starts to stabilize, I think that I will continue to sit here in the background, picking up the spare change that is thrown at me, like some senseless vagabond meandering his way blindingly through space and time, hoping that one day I will find my way to a trending post.

Wow with out these two charity donor bots, each one of my posts would only make 8 cents. That would be a lot of work for nothing. FML X 1000
its a tough world out there isn't it. Once you get a following it will become a lot easier to get the upvotes your posts need. It happens quickly if you post quality stuff often

I guess we minnows are all on the same boat. Trying to figure out how to get to the promised holy land, the trending page. But i would prefer to buy the whale title if i had the money... but i don't so let's keep grinding i guess.
Let the grind fest begin. I was going to dump a huge amount of money into steem, but now I am starting to question it. Maybe Ill give it a few more months.

Yeah 1000$ would be plenty, I would reinvest it all on steem power.

Steemit is very cliquish. Sad but true. Thanks for the kind words. I hope that it improves from everyone's sake. Even if that means monetizing some of the content on here from outside sources.
